While I usually enjoy the products, the monthly packages rarely ship on time. I have a subscription to Owl Crate as well, and I have never had this issue. They keep giving apologies, but they never seem to actually resolve the issue.
Was subscribed for almost a year, and had no issues with them. And quick answers by costumer service. (I used the UK based).
Great customer service and fast responses. Very flexible too. The only con is the high price, but for the amount and quality of the products, it really is worth every cent.
Find this book box so exciting with great exclusive bookish gifts. Also i had an issue and when i contacted them they went above and beyond to help and were so personal and quick with replies would recommend
Fairyloot books have a tendency to come damaged due to poor packing, and I really hope that that will change in future. However, their customer service is really friendly and always eager to help! They're really trying their best, but they're also struggling due to the pandemic + having too large an audience and being understaffed. Still, their attitude has been great so far and I don't regret supporting them ???? Their books are also stunning!
The Fairyloot boxes are fun and their exclusive books are very nice. However, if the book arrives damaged due to their bad packaging... You're screwed. I ordered an exclusive edition of the Damned by Renée Adieh from them, and the book arrived scuffed and dented from sliding around inside the box. It looks hideous. I emailed their customer service, and they claimed it is "not damaged enough" for them to replace even just the dust jacket of the book.
This is a company that operates by shipping you books. Apparently they cannot do this properly, and they won't fix the damage when things go wrong due to their poor packaging.
I was impressed with how Fairyloot resolved the issues involved with customers experiencing card fraud. Especially during this time. Their products are superb and I enjoy their special editions too.
The boxes themselves are a good product but fairyloot has issues with poor communication, shipping and poor buisness practises. Any special edition sale is a complete nightmare, the website can never handle the traffic and some more limited editions it is pure luck whether you manage to get one. They recently went ahead with a highly antipicated sale despite a number of customers reporting card fraud. Of course this resulted in more victims. Many people have issues with shipping and it takes months to correct if something goes wrong. This month shipping of my box was delayed, when I finally received tracking the box was coming from us instead of the normal uk. I have yet to receive it nearly 3 weeks after others have received. No email was sent explaining this, customers are expected to dig through websites and various instagram posts to find the information!
I have no issue with the boxes themselves and the items Fairyloot provide in said boxes, from the few I have managed to get my hands on they have all been great. However I have one major issue with them - their shipping. It is now the middle of July and I am still waiting on my April box. The original one apparently "got lost" on the way to the courier, who by the way is Hermes. Now, we all know that Hermes is notoriously bad at their job. However it is been almost a month since getting in touch with Fairyloot to order a replacement April box. Allowing the 15-20 days and then almost another 10 on top of that and with no word from Fairyloot or Hermes about the potential replacement I can only assume I will never receive it. Either they never sent one in the first place, or it has "gotten lost" yet again. Bad form Fairyloot. You have lost a return customer in me as well as any recommendations I may have given.
I’m so impressed with how Fairyloot dealt with my issue, especially in the middle of a pandemic.
I recently had fraud on my card so my bank cancelled the card but in a panic I forgot to update my details to my subscription. I emailed Fairyloot as soon as I noticed the payment hadn’t gone through and they quickly rectified it this morning for me without any hassle. I’m so glad as I’ve been waiting on their blood and honey box so if I missed this I would have probably had a mini breakdown ????.
Huge thanks guys! Yous are doing great for being in uncharted territory with covid ☺️.
